1956 Olympic Rowing venue

All the houses around the lake were very grand from another era

 

A short drive from town to Lake Wendouree where the 1956 Rowing events took place

 

The rings & flame 66 years later

 

Was a cold & windy day & lake has it's winter coat on !!!!
