Memorial Arch @ Beginning of the Great Ocean Road

The Great Ocean road was built by returned Soldiers from WW1
What an amazing feat, considering most of it was by pick & shovel!!!

Just down the road from the lighthouse, this lovely restored Pioneers hut

A short drive from Torquay towards the start of the Great Ocean Rd, & a small detour,

 we discovered yet another wonderful lighthouse

Having another few days of luxury at the Wyndham Torquay resort, right opposite the beach

 

Had a couple of dips in spa, pool way toooooooo cold!!
