Perry Sand-hills near Wentworth NSW



According to geologists the Perry Sand-hills originated after an Ice Age (40,000 years ago) & are formed by wind erosion over thousands of years


Skeletal remains if giant mega-fauna
 (kangaroos, lions, emus & wombats & giant goanna) have been found here
 


Wildflower season in the dunes
 
 
 
 
 
 


The sand-hills were used as a bombing range during the WW11.

Now the area is utilised as a backdrop in many films, TV shows & Ads
